Hello Malcolm, it is indeed possible to purchase tickets for First Class with a Disabled Person’s Railcard. In certain circumstances, particularly if only the First Class carriage is accessible to you, then you may receive a free upgrade at the discretion of the operator at the time that the assistance is booked.
